Wanted: 1941-1947 Hudson Pickup

Hi Everyone,
I am currently down in Sacramento California going to Wyotech with no car to get around with. I was originally searching for a coupe utility with no luck due to either too high prices or too far out of town. However I do realize looking for a rare Hudson pickup is a lot to ask for. I would really prefer to find a Hudson pickup, so I could partically restore it while at Wyotech and of couse... its a Hudson! and you never have enough of em! To keep it short I want to find a 41-47' pickup with:
Hydro matic transmission (manual could work also, but I am very unfamiliar using them)
L6 engine or L8 engine with all mechanical parts there (or missing very few) and not seized.
Drivetrain functional
All glass decent
Body can be rusted, with dents and flaking paint (since I can fix that while at Wyotech)
Condition #4
1 - Excellent/Show Car; 2 - Fine Original/Restoration; 3 - Very Good Original; 4 - Good but needs repairs; 5 - Restorable; 6 - Parts Car.

I think HET follows the same rating system but I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page.
I am not looking for a fully restored pickup since I cannot afford them and I do not want to fix something that is not broken.
Any leads or links to currently listed vehicles are much appreciated!
Thanks.

these are cramped trucks how are tall are you0

Yeah, be careful. The cabs are tight and the seatbacks are vertical. Check the HET roster (assuming you're a member) and find someone near you with a pickup. Ask if you can come over and look it over, maybe sit in it, before you make your decision.0

I am considering narrowing the year range to 1946 & 1947 only since they a easier to find that the pre-war models.
Cruzer I'll email you a few questions I've got for you and my budget. I'm 5'9" tall so they should be fine for me.
I'll look into finding someone close to where I am at currently who has a Hudson PU so i can see what they are link in the cab. thanks for the advice Jon.0 -

Cruzer, i am in West Sacramento close to Wyotech Sacramento on Stillwater road. Add the fact that I do not have a car (hence why I am looking for the truck at the moment) I would have to taxi to get to where you are. Also are the two you mentioned that might be for sale on your property or elsewhere? Maybe we could figure something out where I could see how they are their interior is and look at the other two.0

Re the tight cab. I drive my 47 several times a week. I'm 6' 175 and don't have a problem. It's a little verticle, but the seat back is a full 6in thick. I'm gonna modify it to taper to a thinner top. Don't need all that cushion up there.
Time to put it up for the winter. We expect snow. The tracks are from a deer standing on top of it.0
