They are worth $750.00 if someone is willing to pay that much for it.0

Niels - I think you got a really good price. I have watched these go for 125 and up0

Niels, I don't want to put a pin in anybody's balloon but you got just about what it was worth. To a Hudson fancier it may be worth more but to a toy collector or a scale promo model collector, the price hinges on rarity and condition. The plastic used in promotional models has a tendency to warp after a decade or two and radically reduces the price of the item. From the appearance of your car it appears to have had some of that warping going on, hence it's value to a promo collector is diminished. To us Hudson guys this may or may not make a difference. Whatever you paid enjoy it for what it is, a Hudson. That alone makes collecting them fun.0

The seller did state the toy car's roof had some warping. I'm not concerned with that and I agree with you with simply enjoying it. I figured it would be nice to show people the difference between my promo model (perfect and unwarped) and the toys that were made from the molds. After a couple beers, people seem to find that stuff interesting, imagine that.... Niels0 -
All you guys that collect 1:18 diecast, there's going to be a 52 hudson convertible available in a couple months in red, green or blue. Believe it's a May 2006 release.0
