Geoff - The glass lens units were only used on very early production 1952 models and were completely different housings - were not interchangeable. By 1953 the only units build were with the plastic lens. I believe I may have plastic lens for your car if I did not sell them at the Gettysburg National. I'll have to check my shelves tomorrow - will let you know0

Geoff - Sorry, but I must have sold those plastic lens at Gettysburg. One thing for sure I don't have them in my garage!0

You must check how your lenses are installed. Some are screwed in place and others are glued in place. My 2 53 Hornets are screwed into the housing and they are original glass. So are my tail light lens. Walt.0
