metal parts reproduction

i don't know if anyone knows of these folks. got it from another group. might pay to check them out. england is not that far away and they do lots of small runs for car buffs in the states.....

    Two thoughts:



    A number of Hudson enthusiasts are already reproducing parts on a small scale, including castings, so one might want to check the reproduction list before deciding to cast the parts himself: http://mysite.verizon.net/detailed1/Repro%20Table.htm



    Secondly, if one wanted to pursue the reproduction of parts by English companies, he might want first to contact our brethren in the Railton Owners Club, which has been arranging for the reproduction of Railton 'spares' in England for many years. (For the uninitiated, Railton was a British car that was built on the Terraplane chassis during the 1930's.) The Railton folks would have a good idea of which shops would be the best to work with, I'd guess. Anyone wanting to pursue this path, could go to the following Railton webpage and contact the gentleman in charge of 'spares' there, for his thoughts on finding a reputable place.
