37 Hudson shift boot?

As you probably know, the original boot was part of the floor mat (badddd idea...). The only antique-car-specific boots I've seen are for Model A's and later thirties Fords (waaaay too big). You have to look around for something rather small to fit the small shift towers in our 1930's Hudsons. (Back in the early 80's I went to a rubber manufacturer who made bellows and got a sample of a shift boot that fit perfectly, as a "sample". They were really expensive at the time, probably worse now, or I'd have bought a passel of them and re-sold them to Hudson guys!
You might take the dimensions of your shift tower and then head over to a foreign car dealer's parts counter, to ask if they have any rubber boots for cars back in the 70's and 80's when there were more floor shifters out there. The smaller cars might have had transmissions with narrower "sticks" and smaller shift towers like the ones on 1930's Hudsons." />

Zounds, indeed! Looks like the same guy (at the same show) captured the exterior as well, at the Wiki "Terraplane" article.
Back to the shift boots.
Here is one for the early 1980's Jeeps from Summit Racing, for the modest price of $5.33. More, here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/omx-1880603/media/images . Shouldn't be too hard to find someone with a Jeep of that era, so you could measure the boot.

Thanks to all who replied, and I have ordered a new one.0

I used the boot from an English Morris 8 shift lever on my '34. If you want one, I can get one for you here in England.0

I ordered the first one listed by Ken U-Tex. It looks closest to the one I have.
Will try to .remember to post a pic when installed.0
