Since I received my WTN today, I'm assuming that most members will be receiving theirs in a day or two, therefore I'm posting my "Parts For Sale" ads that are in this issue

    Jerry-

What do you mean by "headlight door"?

    Jerry,
Since I do not have a parts catalog, can you tell me what you have that is for a 1954 Hudson Hornet Coupe?
  • A lot of Brand -X cars call head light rings "Doors". That may be what he is refering to,

Brownie - The only thing on the lists that will fit a '54 is the Ash Tray retainer for the dash board, simply because it also fits '51 thru '53. Since I have a '54 club coupe (shown above), I'm not selling what little I have for a '54

OK, I give up!!!! My membership is due in January. I have been a member now for twenty years. Seems like only yesterday? However, the subject here is delivery of the WTN so since it did not show up today and since it went on line last week; I bit the "what-ever" and renewed with First Class mail. Perhaps now I can read it real time?

Just an update in case anyone was following this thread. My WTN made it in yesterdays mail. That makes it just three weeks and two days from when the first WTN was recieved. On the 27th the HET published the issue on the website, and three days after that my "director" copies were delivered. No comments, just thoughts???

The 2 to 3 week differential between first class and mule-train delivery, is about right. I traditionally get my (regular, low-cost) WTN's the first week of the month following the publishing date.

As to the 27th on-line publishing date, I think the concept is: if the website WTN came out immediately (about the 15th of the month), then why would anyone bother to subscribe first class anymore? When they could subscribe "regular rate", get to see the WTN as fast as a first-class subscriber (albeit on line), and then get their "posterity" WTN in the mail a couple weeks later? At least, that's my "take".

that people who fork out extra money to get their WTN's on time, would find little reason to do so if the on-line WTN's were available immediately!
