Merry Christmas from the Commadore

Had to move this today so a squirt of gas in the carb and she fired right up, so since we haven't had any snow yet, and therefore no salt, took it around the loop to warm it up.

Overdrive had quit, last time I drove it so engaged it to check and lo and behold it engaged. So at the end of my little trip, I kicked it down and it wouldn't engage again. Aha, I think I found my problem.

So now it wears a bow to greet the party people that arrive tomorrow and then I gotta get the garage cleaned out.

Merry Christmas one and all

Merry Christmas to all. May that coveted convertible show up in your driveway on Christmas day and may there be parts you need beneath your tree.
Here's wishing all the very best of the coming New Year and may all get to as many Hudson meets as you can to get together with old friends and make new ones!!!

What I did, when I left Maine, was bring a snow shovel with me - when I got to a place where somebody wanted to know what the funny looking shovel was that's where I stopped and put down roots!!!!!!!!!!!! :))
Only trouble is it's a little difficult for Santa to land and take off around here.

I'd just as soon have snow. Takes the bite out of the cold.

We have been lucky so far this winter. All the snow is falling around us but here by the bay it is almost like summer. The Essex was selected as the January cover for a local Chrome Plating business. And ended up as their Christmas Card. Had to get under the hood yesterday and turn the water into the heater it was so cold. By the way, great photo Uncle Josh--I showed it to my cars and the shuttered....

I do like what you've done to that Essex, Brownie.

UJ, I can only imagine what it's like to live with that much snow - from sunny NZ, heading into summer.
I hope everyone & those you care about, have a great (& safe) festive season.

Happy Hudsoning - drive those cars!!
