Those are cool. Fellow up in MA has a 1929 Dual Cowl life size - and had a pedal car copy made by Steelcraft of Canada. They look neat side by side. He even went so far as to special order a pedal car wrecker maybe in case the little pedal car DC Phaeton broke down.
I did an article, "Around New England", in the Aug. 2005 issue of the New England Chapter newsletter Nor' by Nor'East. I can email a copy of that newsletter to anyone interested - email nechudsontech09@yahoo.com (drop the nec)

The largest collection of unrestored and restored pedal cars in the USA is located at Speedway motors museum in Linclon, Nebraska. Several attached pictures do not do justice to this collection. A tour that should be on every car nuts must see list.

I'll see if I can find some pics of my 27 and compare. Maybe some one else could do the same? Sooner than I will?
Interesting!0 -
OOPS.I guess it is a 29 not a 27..0

Love that photo of the dual cowl pedal car at the museum in Lincoln, NE. Bet you had to be the rich kid on the block to have had one of those in its day!0

Looking back at the pedal car. hmm? I think we can rule out '29. The shutters in the grill were vertical that year. But horizontal in '27. Although the wheels might not be a great indicator, because it's a toy, and they could of put any wheels on they wanted. I wonder when disk wheels were last used? I gotta' think '27 or 8 were near the end of disks? Anyone know?
What about the fenders? I don't recognize the detail lines in those ones. Not '27 though. Maybe older? Anyone recognize the fender detail?
I know this is just a toy and not an exact reproduction of anything. But in order to name it "Hudson", "Nash", or whatever, you would think the grill, fenders, hood, and maybe the wheels would mirror whatever they were trying to copy.
Although the grill looks similar to '27, I don't see much else that I recognize.0
