I don't know current ownership or technicians but decades ago they were one of the best suppliers in the hobby. Could be an age or health issue going on. Have YOU called THEM?0
-
StillOutThere, yes I have and they will not return my calls. I have emailed and no reply there either. So I just bought shocks from Albrights.0

What did shocks you sent them come from? They are rebuilders of antique, non-tubular types. They don't sell tube shocks or any new shocks. They are a service business.
I just don't want to see the 50 year excellent reputation of this business get trashed over some misunderstanding.0 -
I sent the front shock from my 39 Hudson. I called prior to sending and the young man assured me they could ebuild it and thanked me for my Air Force service. Must be different folks from what you remember. I understand about not wanting to see the rep be trashed but I recieved in this case no service and just dont want anyone of our hudson family to experience what I did.0

Hi Val,
I have 2 shocks at Five Points Classic Shocks waiting to be rebuilt, so after reading about your problem I contacted Matt who is the owner. Matt is the son of the original owner of Five Points. I related your comments here on the Hudson forum, and asked him about it. He stated that he has been out for most of the last month and did not realize that you had called (I told him you made several attempts). He said that he was very concerned, but at this time he could not remember you or the shocks. He asked how to get in contact with you. I told him that I would contact you via this forum. He seemed very concerned, and stated that he wants to find your shocks and get them repaired. He asked if I could get your phone number so that he could call you. If you want to PM me with your phone number, I will be happy to relay it to him or help you, in any way I can. At this point, I am only relating what was said in my conversation today with Matt.
P. S. I am not sure who you are, but I do know a "Val" that belongs to the CIC Hudson chapter.
