Suggestions for disassembly of stepdown convertible top frame assembly requested

I posted some pics of the part after the "donut" was welded back on. The pics are next to the pics before it was welded. It turned out good.

No, I looked for one in the yellow pages but didn't find any. I just found the guy with the biggest yellow page ad and he was the only one that said TIG welding in his ad. When I called him on the phone he said "no I can't do it, welding cast aluminum is very difficult" We talked a little and he asked how big the parts were to be welded. He said he would at least take a look at it. When he saw it he said he would try it. After he welded it he said it went very well. I had made a metal plate that bolted to the big hole in the big part and a smaller hole that bolted onto the donut. I used a bunch of washers under the plate at the big hole end. This contraption held the donut firmly in place and parallel to the big hole area. He said he notched out where he welded and got good penetration. Rob0
