The city I live in is giving me a hard time about the Hudsons I have in my field, so I need to find them a new home. I have a pair of 54 sedans I am parting out before I haul the skeletons off. Any requests for parts.......really cheap! No power steering, gas tanks, glass or motor/trans left, but mostly everything else is available. I am in Denver, but willing to ship.

    Hi Don,
Do you have the 54' grill, front turn signals, front bumper, headlight trim bezels, passenger side door handle, and steering wheel horn?
I think that is all I am missing.
    Christopher.

If we don't get too much snow tonight, I will take pictures of the cars and post them. There is some rust around the wheel wells of both of them, but I never looked underneath to see how far it goes. I am also parting a 51 that is really solid.......I was going to cut out the entire rear perimeter frame of that car. I wasn't planning on going to Big Country, but I am sure there are a few guys headed that way from our chapter that could deliver stuff.

The city recently changed the zoning in my area from agricultural to residential, and now I have to clear out all the my cars, or get them registered and drivable. I was able to get a few of them running, but 6 of them needed to go. I sold one complete car so far, and Dick Bell has an interest in another one.......4 more to go.

Don, I need a gas cap and an oil dip stick. Any luck? I could also use the plastic ring that goes with the antena base under the plastic ball that rotates the antena. Let me know-no need to play in the snow for these but they would be helpful.

Some 54's that had power brakes have a longer dip stick along with a long tube.
  • Rear hood body latch , the owner before me welder a pice of threaded penciel rod into a loop.
  • I need the passenger side defroster vent that is of stamped metal( under dash), to complete my heater re-hab?????? Texas..Also the springs in my wiper blades arms are needed? Carpet hold down strips for the sides?

    Chuck,
The 54 has a Dana rear end, and you can put any gears in it as they are still available.

Don, do you have an exhaust manifold for 308, I need one to mount the 7x adapter for dual exhaust.
    Thanks
    Mike
  • It's fairly easy to make a single carb unit work . The only real difference is the dual stove pipes for the chokes .

The adapter measures about 4 1/4 inches from center to center on the widest part, on my exhaust manifold measures about 3 3/4 inches at the widest part

Were either cars equipped with power brakes. If so, do you have the vacuum tank?
