    Well Looks as if they sold, so someone thought they were worth it. I remember a pair sold for over $1200. a couple of years ago.

    Hmmm. Thought that I recognized the description. I believe that the seller bought these from an Aussie seller on on ebay - 17th Feb 2013 for US$573.88 (inc postage), hence his extremely high starting price.

    Wen I was looking I would have bought it as soon as i saw them, Today's cost ends up being around 1000.00 a pair by the time you have them plated and rewired. (Been there, done that)
