I have a few NOS glass parts that I can't identify, and the part numbers are missing from the box (or can't locate in parts book) Any help appreciated. If it isn't 51-54, I am at a loss.

Thanks

The center part is the same basic shape as 52/53 parking lens, but much smaller....

Top row right looks like licence lense for 40's pick up. Middle row, center is Jet parking lens.
Mid row right is 42-47 Super. Bottom row left is Commodore 42-47. Bottom right is 1940
tail. ( edge of this lens is marked either sedan or coupe) slight difference in curviture
will result in broken lense if installed snugly on wrong car.

Upper left must be 1940 or so. The later ('42-'47?) were clear glass. Lower right looks like 1940.
  • That center one I dont think is for Jet due to thepart number shown. Its one didgit off from the full size car 52-53 models. That generaly means its the same thing , Jet # is 235842 & 235842

That center lens is definitely for the Jet. The lens for the '52 & '53 full size Hudson is over twice that size!

Thanks for the help. I will probably never need these, so I was going to Ebay them. If anyone wants to buy one before I list, let me know. I have a few other lenses also, like the early 52 front and rear lights, 54 tail light, regular 52/53 lenses, a 39 tail, fog light kit, and maybe some others. All NOS in original packages.

  • Well the big car lens is 5-1/2 inchs ,so if its smaller its a Jet

If you have a pair of the lenses shown top left for the 1940 Hood I am interested in them.

I think the 1940 was plastic lenses and a little longer and not as wide
    but i could be wrong
