1951-1954. No markings for the 262 in 1950. 1951, begining of the "wide" blocks was
the begining of the cu.in. cast into the heads.0 -
Was it common to put a 232 head on a 262 in the day if that was all that was around?
What was the casting # on a wide block 232 and 262?

I know I didn't, didnt have the money to spend except for gas! Could have been done if desired. Would make a bit of improvement. Remember the narrow block(1948-1950) did
not have the cu.in. raised number cast into the head. 1951 up (Wide block) did have these numbers by the thermo. housing.0
