1946-1947 Pickup Vs. Car?

Are there any mechanical differences between a pickup and car? 46-47? Brakes, engine, transmission, suspension, rear-end, wheels etc...???

  my truck has every other leaf removed for a better ride. i don't know how it will function but maybe by next year this time i will.

  Cars are 121 in wheelbase, trucks are 128 in
