know you'll tell us that you haven't even twisted a bolt off yet. Sure does

look sweet and I think you done good with the auction. Is it half as clean as

it looks? Sure hope you'll keep us informed on the progress. Good to know

    its found a GOOD home.

Now get back out there and bust a knuckle or something... ;)
  • That Looks like a real diamond in the ruff find, appears very solid, looks like you wasted very little time in stripping it down. Very, very cool, please keep us posted!!!

  • I remember when I looked at that car 40 years ago, It had an extra drivers door that went with it then, it looks the same as it did then.
  • Nice Job, Dave and Company.... Can I assume you are going to at least take a breather on Sunday for the "Steelers Winning of Da Super Bowl Extravaganza?"

    Go Pburgh!

BaHaaa! The Steelers will lose and lose big! (finally I can say this...) GO SEAHAWKS!

The Seahawks should feel as fresh as they did in pre-season. How hard of a schedule can you have to play Arizona, San Francisco, and St Louis twice each? Plus Houston and Green Bay?

Here We Go Stillers, Here We Go!
  • Wow. It would appear that bad boy is in much better shape than mine was. Great buy! And a 48 to boot. Very cool. Looking forward to seeing your progress. I am working so much I barely see mine :-( Suffering from seperation anxiety. Glad it found a good home.

Seriously - she looks pretty good and I've heard those 48's CV's are hard to come by.

Doesn't look like you have anywhere near the rustola problems I had - great buy.

It will be fun to watch the progress.
  • Nice ragtop Nick! Look forward to seeing your progress.

Now that Fall is here Ken and I are back to work on Nick's car. Progress report: All sheetmetal is straightened, etching primer, sanded and primed with high build primer and ready for sanding with 400 paper, new wiring harness was delivered from Rhode Island, most of chrome is in plating shop, lacquer paint will be ordered next weeek and interior goes to upholstery shop in 2 weeks.

We are on hold until after Thanksgiving, then back at it. Ken says we will might be done before Auburn National.

Just as long as it's done for the 2008 National - honoring the Hudson 8 in 2008. hehehee

Really - I thought I ate some "seahawk crow" somewhere on the forum shortly afterwards...besides we all know it was the Ref's who won the game for PB!

Nick chose original charcoal and silver ( Hudson Glowing gray over Queenstown gray)with black top and wire wheels. Interior will be maroon leather.
