are these essx or hudson headlamps

just wondering if anyone knows what these are off of and year? i was told they were essex and am planning on using them on my '27. anyone know?

    No, they do not fit any model Hudson or Essex that I know of.

    The 27 will need the flat back buckets or you may have problems opening your bonnets
    as a friend of mine did,
    when he put on a pair of originals this was no longer a issue
    These come up regularly on e-bay

    thank you both for the info. i had looked at pictures and was afraid they weren't essex lamps. i am a such long way from putting headlamps on, i will prob have them lost when iget around to it. i am just starting to work on this essex.

    Look very similar to those on my '30 Essex. Lens looks a little different though.

    well, there is hope i guess! the other one doesn't have a glass. i hadn't even give any thought to the hood clearence like essexcoupe said. i will wait and see when i get closer to that point, i am just getting started and buying a few parts i need along the way.
