Anyone know where I can purchase the stainless steel trim that runs along the base of the quarter panel, door, and frt. fender on a 1949 Com 2dr coupe? I need all of it for Dads car. It doesn't need to be perfect.

I'd also like to know where you buy the trim clip sections. Mine are all rusted and brittle.

I used a polished Alum. molding and stainless end spears on a 51 Pacemaker coupe. Found it at a automotive upholstery supply store. It is not as wide as the orig. by about 1/32. They had small plastic retainers and metal screws to attach. They look very good on the Hudsons they have been put on.

  • If you are still looking for the mouldings, I would try Glen Johnson out in Idaho. I bought some NOS ones from and he aslo had the rockers as well. If he does not have any left, try Ken Amman or my friend Don Mowrey.
