Gas distribution on twin H carbs

Any pictures I see that have twin H carbs have the T on the front carb This seems to be correct but am wondering if the twin H would work better if the T was placed between the 2 carbs with the gas comming in th flow to both carbs equaly

It doesn't make any difference how the gas comes in, as long as your float bowl is not running "out of gas", so to speak. You can't use up the gas in the bowl faster than it is being filled, even flat out. Nothing here to re-engineer that I know of.
  • Thanks Russell Just an idea. Ray
  • You can certainly route it the other way, I just don't think it makes a difference performance wise. In fact, I'm pretty sure the Hudson engineers routed it the way they did in order to get the fuel line as far away from the exhaust manifold as possible.
  • That is a very good thought about the exhaust.I will leave it the way it is . Ray
  • True , that's why the line is off in space like it is ,
