I seem to recall that Hudson offered it first in either 1939 or 1940. It would have been vacuum-operated. Also in either '39 or '40, they had a vacuum antenna.0

Yes - I've seen a few kits on ebay over the last year. THe wiper was avaliable for 48 and 49. I have a NOS set (not for sale). There is a special wiper motor which mounts belor the drivers side of the rear windor. Long vac. lines go to a switch on the dash. Then hoses again to a 'T' on the normal wiper motor feed.
They are not all that rare0
