'49 Commodore 6 just turned up here, minus one rod and piston, starter motor, and transmission. Is anyone able to supply these parts, and willing to ship to N.Z.?? Please!

    Great response! No hurry, I'll contact tony and talk to him. also need speedo, clock, and sundry other items, like rear spats. This car has been robbed to keep another one on the road, and has just re-surfaced after about forty years.

    Sad to report that the person who purchased this car has decided to fit a Chevrolet V8 motor into it. I had offered to put this feeler out to see if we could help him, but obviously he will not need these parts. These cars are so rare here it seems a shame to rod it.
