1936 Headlight ?

I am in need of one 1936 Hudson headlight with a good stainless steel ring with no cracks I have a set of 1937 NOS headlights I would like to know if the stainless rings are the same on 36&37 headlights I know the head light bodys are not the same I thought I might be able to use the 37 rings on my 36 bodys thanks. I have not called don axlerod yet going to do that today.

    CALLING DON IS THE BEST THING TO DO HE IS THE MAN WHEN IT COMES TO HEADLIGHTS WE SHOULD BE CALLING HIM DR. HEADLIGHT !!!

    The rings can be welded. It makes them a bit stiff when it comes to installing the glass but I was able to do it. I have two shells left over from my project (1936 Hudson Stratton Sport Saloon) but both of them have some hair like marks that I expect are cracks? Not really looking to sell them but if you need some measurements or photos I can help out there?
