This is one of my favorite years and color combos. Would be a great original to have and drive! This guy really scored when he found this one.

  • Yep. That one may very well be a keeper, although the current owner believes these sedans are regularly fetching 150K. He's in for a surprise, I'm sure. Good looking car and low mileage original.
  • Yep somehow he has convertibles (still even high for them) and sedans confused.
  • When I was editor of the New England Chapter newsletter I had an article about the "Satan of Morimar" - if I remember rightly it was from the auction. There was a lot of info in the report that I used.

  • That is a solid number 3 car. Not a show car by any means.
  • Well, Ken, amongst the speculators, that's the going ticket right now.
  • OK this has gotten out of hand pretty quickly and the guy selling must have set his reserve in the $40 to 50K range from the looks of things. Now at $33K+ and still has not hit his reserve.

Makes one wonder if someone is out there bouncing up the bid price? If you look at the bid history only two people are bidding and they did not enter the bid process until it was at 20K. As Will would say, "There is something rotten in the state of Denmark..."
  • Let them get stuck with it!
  • Did not meet reserve!
