I'm scanning photos taken in '60s during various cross-country trips to Nationals. At the time some of the agencies still in business as AMC dealers so we'd stop & see if they had any Hudson parts for sale, often did.
First one, Harry Luff dealership in S.L.C. - we stopped there, our '51 HH, stick & o.d. gassing up. He was still in business, had some parts but rather irascible old dude, LOL.

  • Wallace, Idaho dealership
  • Miles City, Mt.
  • Woreland, Wyo.
  • this dealership was rather interesting as "parts man" was a woman! They had a lot of Hudson parts but when we asked about what she'd want for them she pulled out the Hudson Parts Price List, wanted what they had pd. for them; we were taken aback as used to getting stuff for 10 cents on the dollar at the most. We bought only a few items from them.
As you can see in the photo (Case sign) they had become a farm implements dealer.
This dealership was in Olivia, Minn.
  • Belle Fourche, S. D.
(some of these spelling might be off a little as the captions & albums done by wife & she wasn't an overly good speller, LOL)
  • Ken - wait 'til you're over 70 !!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Thanks for posting these interesting pictures. Especially like the SLC dealership signage.
  • last one.
That is I, photographed by wife, trying to see if anything left in dealership in Traverse City, Mich.
  • Old - S.L.C. seemingly was a very strong Hudson area. Found a lot in junkyards there inc. a '29 Dover (have/had a pic of it, was told it was saved & now in process of being restored).
Saw a super-rare & very authentic '12 "Mile-A-Minute" roadster at the Price Museum when there for a meet + met a guy who at one time had two '13 Hudsons & a '29 dual cowl phaeton, one Merrill Maxfield.
  • I love the way certain dealers managed to convert their old vertical "Hudson" signs into "Rambler" ones. The "R" in the Woreland, Wyoming sign, is really "reaching for it" though, LOL!
