Hudson super wasp value?
Hello everyone. Question for the knowledgeable Hudson owners. I current own a Hudson super wasp 2dr coupe. All original / complete. I acquired this vehicle some years back with the intentions of restoring her from the ground up. When I parked her in the shop she did run but did not move under her own power......I never checked the fluid since I was going to tear into her. Very little rust ( surface rust on bumpers and underside of hood ). Body / floor / trunk solid. I even purchased the twin h intake, carbs and cleaners. Still have the original carb, intake and exhaust manifold. I am considering selling her because I have numerous cars waiting to be restored. All the vehicles in my collection have family ties / history except her. I always complained about automobile hoarders that did nothing with the vehicles except let them sit. I would always say " sell her so someone could do something with her ". Well I do not went to be that guy! What would something like her go for. What would you think a fair asking price would be. Not looking to get rich but not looking to give her away either. She has so much potential and I'm afraid I wont be able to get to her until I'm 60! I'm 40 now......LoL. Like I said I'm considering selling her but any help would be greatly appreciated. Ron

Your request is like somebody asking someone to date their sister sight unseen who has been out of circulation for a long time.
I would suggest taking lots of pictures of your car and include more information, year, mileage, why it is not driveable, etc. Those will help to determine worth. Sharing closeup pictures all around car, engine bay, dash ,interior, windows, floors. trunk, tires, under car, all around the perimeter frame, grill, trim, rusty areas, dents, any visible flaws and favorable areas, etc. will help determine approximate value and likely produce interested buyers.
I wish you success in selling your car and restoring the rest of your collection.

Also kinda like what is a ton of hay worth. Depends whether it's been thru the horse.
Here's another all original SuperWasp that's probably experienced the latter.
and a Hornet that's probably worth more than either, especially if the tail goes with the hide.0 -
