Is this a Hudson diff?

I'm told that this is a Hudson diff, does anyone know if that is true and what range of years?

    Unfortunately there is a little too much vegetation around the pinion flange area to get a positive I.D., but it looks like it is a 1927-'28 Hudson diffy. if it is it will have a filler to the right of the pinion housing, and the words Hudson cast in the front somewhere.
