Good collection of photos to go with the question. I expect that it is not running and has sat for a while? Those comments are not posted. But lets say that it is running and drivable just for discussion sake. The car needs a total restoration and there is rust--some you can see in the under side photos and some bad rust in the side rails. In my "never to be humble opinion," as a 4 door dressed down 53 Hornet it has an actual market value of $1000.00. Even at that price, you would have more money in the car restoring it than you could get out of it so it becomes a labor of love. If you are going to "love" more than 20K into a Hudson there are better buys out there. Just as a thought, you could not sell this car at that price.0

Well, it's not running right now, as there are no spark plug wires on it. Does the engine at least turn over by hand? Again, assuming it does, I will say I mostly agree with what Brownie has posted, although, I think it's worth more than that. You could get $2000 in parts if you work it. So, I would think it's worth at least a couple grand. Good thing, being a 4dr. Sedan, parts like rockers, quarters are readily available and easy to replace. That bad door is not so bad, as it could be repaired with a patch panel. The rusty frame is a different story, although from the pictures, it's not terrible, but there are certainly areas that need to be addressed.
No one in the world could "restore" that car for 20K. There's 20k just in brightwork repair. You could get it operable, get it running and enjoy it without doing a full resto. Then, attack it a little at a time.
At the end of it, I think $4300 is a little strong. If you're in love with her, let's say around 3k, if not, around 2k. If you are looking to turn it, forget it. There's better candidates out there.
