FYI
Another Hudson '8' Cpe is being restored in the Cleveland (Oh) area.
It is Hornet Powered now with a S10 5 Spd Trans. The Adapter was made nearby by Vintage Metal Works. They used the S 10 Clutch mated to the Hudson disc.

It is work in Progress but all the clutch linkage and driveline is completed.image

    Can you explain "S-10 clutch mated to the Hudson disc" for me? That disc would be a cork insert, wet disc. that pretty much won't mate to anything else as I know it.

    not to squabble over semantics but hot-rodding a car is not the same as restoring it.

    Well its Hudson Powered and will be another Hudson back on the road. I shouldnt have said restored instead of updated.
    I only posted what I read on the back of the picture. Apparently, the Hudson Disc was attached to the S-10 Hub then re-balanced.

    By "Disc" could they have meant Flywheel instead .That would make more sense to me.

    Your probably right although the Hudson flywheel is real thin to mate a dry disc. I wish they had took a picture before they bolted together. Its all Chevy S10 clutch & Trans for sure. When I see the owner again Ill ask for more details.
