help with -Pointy- shaped Gas Pedal rubber
Hi,
I'm new to the group and found this place via a google search...
.... I'm currently working on a 31 Ford with a blown Flathead and am sourcing a few odds and ends for my project.....
....I found a gas peddle that I believe is from an 30s or 40s Hudson.
It is in the shape of a "pointy boot" (for lack of better words)
The rubber cover needs replacing so I Have been trying to find a rubber cover or a complete new pedal.
Is this indeed a Hudson part??
Does anybody have a link or a parts source for a peddle or peddle rubber??
I might be able to post a picture if need be (haven't figured out how to post pics yet)
Thanks
moe

Moe.. The owner of Kgap is Dany Spring. I am not sure if he has a web site yet but I think this is his email springspeeddemon@aol.com OR Try kgaphet@aol.com Good Luck Ron, You have a great website. Is that 39? Ford ute yours ? There are alot of down under folks here.0 -
Dont think kgap has web site at this time. They do list in the catalog the rubber cover for the 32/54 accelerator pedal. Email hhh kgaphet@aol.com leave the hhh off.

Thanks for the input guys,
I have had this old gas pedal hanging on the shop wall for a good ten years
and the only thing thats kept it from being used in a project is the dry rotted rubber.
I zipped an email of to Dany at k-gap .......
The shape of this peddle is what makes it a 'gotta have' accesory for my Blown AV8 build up.......... Now I Just have to locate a 30s Hudson or Essex Instrument cluster.......
Ron, No the ute isn't mine, just a neat old 'barn find' that was listed on ozrodders.com a while back. Sure would love to get my hands on one though, rare as hens teeth in Canada.
...My current projects are a 31 5 window rumbleseat(restored), a 46 Studebaker M5 truck and my current foolish obsession, the blown flathead roadster (with a Hudson gas pedal)......
thanks again for all the help....
