1937 Terraplane pickup

I spotted this ad placed on 1/1 over at the 'other' Hudson chatroom (the one at Classiccar that no one uses except by mistake). I wrote the fellow suggesting he post the car here at the Forum, but apparently he hasn't done that. I know nothing about the car except what he posted:



'I have a 1953 caddy front clip 4 sale along with a 1937 hudson terraplane truck big boy series that would make a great hotrod or ratrod id like 2 get 800.00 out of it anyone intrested?

    I got the same message and also got the picturs. The truck is well how can I say this, #5 is not really adequate. No bed, no grill, well something that looks like an Allis Chalmers tractor grill. I suppose one could do something with but I do not know what. I will forward the pictures to anyone interested.

    This truck's been on EBay before. They only put the hood on it and added the tractor grille to "spiff" it up a bit.

    That's super rugged but with as rare as they are a more daring restorer might want to take it on. LOL
