Looks like the axle broke and made a mess of the parameter frame. Anyone have a parts car that this area could be cut out and shipped?

looks like they used a Shrinker-Stretcher on that section. Been wanting one for years, this may force me into getting one!

Those are pretty inexpensive at Harbor Freight and for part time needs, will serve you pretty well. They are not pneumatic, but operate with a foot pedal. Very adequate for the hobbyist.

I've been looking at all the sources that sell them and am looking for somthing rated for 14ga as that is what makes up the parameter frame metal. The harbor freight unit is only rated for 18Ga. I'm a little more than a hobbiest so would use it a whole lot more.
Wish I had the money for this one!

Kerry- check out these older HAMB threads - Using the Harbor Freight Stretcher with user mods. Might be the ticket if the cost to buy the Hi Dollar item are out of line now.
