Sway bars

Hi- On the Stepdowns the link from the sway bar end attaches to the lower A arm. On some of the earlier Hudsons this link attaches to a bracket on the steering spindle. What was the reason for this? I think it was supposed to help in the steering in certan conditions? Norm

    My guess would be the front sway bar was an afterthought as the design was being put together. Hence the bracket added rather than a whole different lower control arm ?

    Great article, but I thought that the person riding in the passenger seat was supposed to have the shotgun?

    The Auto Poise was offered as a retrofit kit for the 37's & 38's because of its popularity. Quite a few 37 & 38 owners in the HET have installed them on their cars.
