My guess would be the front sway bar was an afterthought as the design was being put together. Hence the bracket added rather than a whole different lower control arm ?0

Great article, but I thought that the person riding in the passenger seat was supposed to have the shotgun?

The Auto Poise was offered as a retrofit kit for the 37's & 38's because of its popularity. Quite a few 37 & 38 owners in the HET have installed them on their cars.
