212 exhaust manifold

Anyone know whether a '37-on manifold can be fitted to a '36? The main point is whether the exhaust manifold will interfere with the inlet manifold, ie is it more displaced to the side than the '36 manifold?

I want to fit one to my '36 to see whether it makes a difference in terms of free-flowing. The '36 one is quite flat and limited in cross-sectional area.

Also, did the 112 use the same manifold as the Terraplane and Hudson of the same year? There's one available for sale which I could be interested in.

    the later manifold will not fit.

    Denzil, the manifolds are the same for '34-'36, and then from 1937 to '47, but the  two types are not interchangeable, as the later type have bigger ports and inlet chambers.   The standard models '37-'39 had single throat carbs, and the  super series were twin throat.  There are some differences also in the heat control,  some are automatic and some manual.
