Cast your own!
Since I have a Commodore 8 I had enjoyed reading the posts on aluminum heads and manifolds. It was ironic that in the latest issue of AutoRestorer there is an article on casting your own aluminum heads with a back yard foundry. So if you can't find an Edmunds or Clifford, build your own. With the computer controlled milling equipment that is available today it would be quite feasible to machine an aluminium head for an 8 - or for a 6.
The top and a bottom would need to be machined as 2 seperate halves to enable the water passages to be created, and then welded together around the edge. The bolt holes and plug holes would be machined as part of the bottom half and poke up through the top deck and be welded to the top deck.0
