OK, the radiator shop told me that mine is shot. They can recreat one but the cost is too much for me. I need to buy a new one for my '46 pick-up running a 308. Does anyone know what I should be using as a replacement?

    Lance, are the tanks and shroud pieces shot, too? If not, your shop should be able to get a new core, with modern style construction, to replace the original.

    Park, the tanks are shot also I was told. So I'm still looking for the replacement, maybe from a stepdown that will work for my 308 in my truck.
