Glass Setting

I'm replacing the glass in a wing window.  Does the sticky side of the glass setting tape go against the glass or frame.

 

'Nothing should ever be done for the first time.'

    Stick the tape to the glass, tap the glass (and tape) into the frame.  Trim any errant tape.  Make sure you have the correct thickness tape, as they come in various thicknesses.
