Is it just me or is this popping up a lot. Isn't this the car that was ebay a while back with a buy now price of $6700?.

Sure looks the same to me. I could be wrong.

It's actually really pretty for a Jet. Of course, I am partial to the colors (actually reversed). Would be a good car for my mother, if she hadn't blown all her money on that '98 Cobra. Does seem pricey, but not overtly though.

This one was on Ebay before. There was also another one with the same color scheme on Ebay shortly after, it did not seem in quite as good condition, I think it may have been from Colorado. But I think both of them had different states license plates than the state they were being sold from.
  • This Jet was for sale a while back. Possibly did not sell... or bidder failed to purchase? I am not a Hudson only person. I follow the Pontiacs on Ebay too. There is a similar activity going on with a couple of Firebirds being sold in the San Francisco Bay area. These cars have been on eBay three times from same vendor... I know that the second auction ended with a sale and the feedback from seller indicates that the cars were purchased?? Obviously I have asked eBay ... Wazzz UP? Do not expect to get a real answer... easy does it and careful consideration are my eBay controls...
  • This car started out at an estate sale two years ago here in Oklahoma City. That owner had it and a '53 Hornet sedan that sold. It sold to a guy in Louisiana who was bidding by phone, for $4,800. He ended up getting deployed to Iraq, so he had the auction company sell it for him. They sold it to a classic car broker here in Oklahoma City last Fall. They, in turn, sold it to the current seller for around $8K. The car is pretty nice, but not $8K nice. The interior is very nice. The exterior needs smoothing out in several places, especially around the rear wheel wells. The body work there is not the best, and needs work. The paint is a good amateur job, but would need repainted to be right. It runs and drives nice, though, as the first owner was meticulous about it's maintenance. You can eat off of any part of the car, if you were so inclined. The chrome is good, but not show. There was original paperwork with the car at the estate sale. It has been through three or four of the local Kruse and other classic car auctions over the past two years. So, if you guys are looking for a Jet, here's one you know more about now than you did a few minutes ago.
