Amazing how such a huge amount of money can be spent to ruin a good vehicle.0

How soon we forget. This is the same diesel Hudson that was made for that handicapped driver, and was very, very much publicized a few years ago.

As has been said many, many times - you do it for 'the hobby', not to make money. He wants $40K, but the starting price (without reserve) is $35K. In the end, he might see offers of $25K-$28K.
Better bet (for the seller) might be to take it to B-J...

The "dream" of the handicapped driver was to set a land speed record at Bonneville with a diesel engine powered vehicle. I do not know if that opportunity came to fruition.0

Article doesn't say if he hit his goal - or I missed it.

Tom, I love diesels and have owned several different ones. I don't often get into customs but this paticular one is right up my alley. I've been contemplating putting a turbocharged Cummins 4bt into a Stude pu I have.
I remembered this PU when it was published in Trucking magazine and wondered what had happened with it.
