Do you know what the full flow kit costs? Interested.

Sent an inquiry on this myself, via the website. Chirp, chirp, chirp... (the sound of quiet)
Please don't take this 'the wrong way', however - It doesn't do any good to produce a product (even a good one), if inquiries from potential customers are not answered...

FYI
I believe there were pictures describing how to build your own full flow oil filter System on the old Forum.....

Gentlemen,
Please excuse the apparent inattention to your inquiries. I don't mean to whine or make excuses but I just received my shiney, new heart pacemaker yesterday and haven't been in a position to check emails for several days. .
They say I'll live......sorry John.
I'll still poop out pretty quickly but should be back up to my usual 75% in a week or so. Stay tuned.
Frank

Got an email response last evening - As stated by all, health comes first, and you are the one to 'set the bar' as far as what you can handle, so don't 'push' yourself..

Frank,I'm glad to hear that you are OK physically!!! I hope that the pacemaker gives you a better quality of life and maybe more oxygen to your brain. You are a wealth of information on both forums and have quite a following. Maybe you can dictate responses and have you nurse type them for you. Listen to your doctors and head nurse, they are wanting to keep you on the right side of the sod!BTW...I got my first Pacemaker at age 50!0

Thanks for the kind words.
I'm doing right fine now.....just a bit slower (is that possible?). It became evident after reading some comments, that some had interpreted the "pacemaker" term to mean yet-another Hudson. I can't believe that didn't come to mind.
If anyone ever asks what a Pacemaker is worth, tell 'em "about $40,000, plus installation".
Very Nice P'maker Brougham. Dare I mention that it should have a VFF system on it?

The major reasons engines run so much longer nowadays is better oil and good filtration. Hard to believe, but when the step-down came out in 1948, good maintenance included dropping the oil pan and cleaning it up regularly. Kinda like taking down the storm windows and putting up the screens on your home in the heartland.
Well, I don't do that anymore and the $365 for the oil filter conversion kit is an investment in free time to drive my Hudsons.
The kit from Frank Hughes is well thought out and he has comprehensive instruction for installation on a Hudson "big six" on the bench or in the car. I have purchased several to use with my own cars.
