'48 Super Six on Ebay -- nice.
There is a beautiful '48 Super Six 4-door on Ebay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-Hudson-Super-6-1948-Hudson-Super-6-all-original-needs-nothing_W0QQitemZ4619248389QQcategoryZ6472QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
This was owned by a member of our Hudson chapter (Chesapeake Bay) who passed away last fall. He purchased it from the son of the original owner and it's in very nice condition. Our former member put a nice coat of paint on it and did a number of minor fixes. I can't attest to every facet of its condition but I do know that it was a good car to start with and was well taken care of. It's in Alexandria, Va., right outside Washington, D.C.

Not fond of the color either, looks like a Hershey chocolate bar but to each their own. Great old car. Looks like it has a vacuum operated window washer aswell. Nice touch. Niels0

Go easy guys this hits pretty close to home. I will say these colors seem
to vary quite a bit in different light conditions. This pic taken near dusk.
I prefer to think of it as an A&W color scheme...0 -
Root beer float? I like it, personally.0

Yeah, i second that, that color scheme really looks good on stepdowns0

Colors look much better in second picture than the first. The rootbeer color is nice. Looks like two different cars! Niels0 -
Its a beautiful car and I like where the colors are split better than mine which is split at the window bottom. With my white over black it looks like a cop car! Just add a cherry top light on the roof!

Whoa wait ,I should have made that clearer. The pic I posted is not the one
on Ebay, mines a 49 Commodore. In reality were probably a few shades apart
but still very similar. Just saw you guys bagging on the color scheme and
couldn't let that slide... All in good fun of course!0 -
I like it. I painted mine with the same split, but deep maroon over cream. I think it looks good and that is all that matters. Right?
