Biddle and Smart Tag.

The tag is on the passenger side just ahead of the front door on the car body about a inch and a half above the running board.1

Coachbuilder's ID tags on left hand drive cars of all makes are almost always placed at the bottom of the right side of the cowl just ahead of the door. On right hand drive cars, the placement is opposite again, on the left cowl. On early cars with large vertical splash aprons, such as the '29 Hudson, this requires that the placement on the cowl is not just above the running board, but is above the splash apron.
