trying to post - get info note that there are 14934 characters too long

You've posted 14,934 characters too many?  Or do you mean that a little sign popped up telling you that your post was "too long"?   I have never heard of this problem before so I'm sure that our web guru will take it under advisement, and poke around in the "settings" section to see if the limit can be increased.
