Bell crank difference's

Does anyone know if there is a different bell-crank for a non Supermatic drive transmission as opposed to an engine WITH the Supermatic drive? I am currently in the process of removing the vacume control items from the engine for the Supermatic and want to keep the 3 speed with OD. The bell crank currently is held on a bracket that is attached by head bolts at the rear left side but has a lot of different attaching points for the different controls of the Drive master. I would like a simple setup all the way to the carb if possible. Terry

Sorry...262 6. The engine serial # begins with a 502 so it is from a 1950. I'll also be looking for an OD handle and cable...the sheathing is there but not the rest. Also, the single lever shift cable is hanging unattached and I have no idea where it goes, the OD lever is wired not to move (baling wire, what else?) and on and on and on.....but first I'd like to get the throttle linkage straightened out. Hi, did this same switch on my 49 with DM. .Was very hard to get iinto reverse,los\ts of slop.Put the one from non drive master and it shifts much easier. You need the #300728 bell crank used on 48-51 W/O drive master."Ric"0

Thanks Ric Did you have any trouble removing the wiring harness? It seems to be separated in most spots from the main harness, that I can see .0

Didn't take anything else off. Just extra linkage that attached to the D M bell crank."Ric"0
