I'm logged in , but the login panel won't go away. Covers right side of the screen.0

Just click where it says HET Login and it will retract up to the top.0

Got it, it's off my screen , but I clicked at the very bottom and it went to the top.
Thanks

The visual aspect takes a little bit to get used-to, however it looks great!

Folks - Your 'Favorites' link (if you have one) may work for a while, but it is a good idea to update it.
And, if you forget - don't worry, just remember that the link to the both forums is at the top of the HET Club web page...

This is a great update. Both forums at the same site is a super idea.
Thanks to the folks that put this together.

The regular forum works very nicely! However, the open forum is not working properly, since about 1 1/4 inches at the right side of the screen is blank, all the way from the top to the bottom of the screen. At the very bottom is a square black box with an arrow in the middle of the black box.0

I'm looking at the "Open Forum" right now, and it appears to be as it should

I just solved my problem by changing the screen resolution. The smaller text now fits nicely on the screen!0

Glad the open forum is tied in to the HET site!
I'm having a problem opening and viewing it on my I-pad. The windows jump all over te place.

Kerry, I opened it up on my iPad and I am not getting the windows jumping like you describe. One thing you might be seeing is that the template for the website is what they call a "responsive" template which means simply that it detects the size of the window you are using and recalibrates the webpage to fit. That is why when you open the site on on a small tablet or iphone, the main menu is a list rather than across the top. For example if you open the site in a tablet and then use the arrow at the top to move the site out of the way, the picture may look huge, until the template re-calibrates to display the image the right size. Let me know of specific activities you are doing I will try and recreate them on my ipad/iphone.0

Advise/Observation:For those of you that use a different 'handle' and/or different 'password' to log into the two forums (HET Club Forum and the 'Open Forum'), there is new a little 'oddity' or 'wrinkle' with the 'Open Forum' that you need to be aware of.Many browsers have an automatic or optionally-elected 'auto-fill' feature for ID and password (credentials) when logging-in to various websites. Since the 'Open Forum' is now hosted within the HET Club Website, it may well be that the 'auto fill' feature will use the cached ID and password for the HET Club website/forum (i.e., the wrong credentials), when attempting to log-in to the 'Open Forum'.I have been experiencing this issue myself. Although I do use the same 'handle' on both forums, the passwords are not the same. When my browser attempts to auto-fill the ID & Password, it inserts the wrong information for the 'Open Forum' login (i.e., it inserts the login information for the HET Club website, not the information for the 'Open Forum' that is needed). I just manually type-in the correct information (ID/password) for the 'Open Forum', and am 'good to go'.I don't mind, as I know what the issue is. Now, you know too...2

This is what I was experiencing and made a post on the other forum about it. I don't see my comment anymore on the other forum. Maybe it was removed?Rob1

Here is your thread, on the HET Club forum. I have included my post there as well -http://www.hetclub.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=3&id=1792&Itemid=594

When I go back to the previous screen where the discussions are listed the scroll bar on the right does not go back to the previous setting. I have to scroll back to the top of the list to select another discussion to view. I did not have this issue before this latest update.0

^^^^^^^^^^^^ what he said ^^^^^^^^^ internet explorer , if it makes a difference.

I have noticed an issue when looking at a posted picture that is bigger than the screen. On this size of pic you have to scroll back and forth , left to right, to see all of it. Well now the scroll bar that you use to do this is way down at the bottom of the clear area below the picture. In order to scroll side to side you first have to use the right , (up-down ) ,scroll bar to get all the way down to the bottom of the page; then you come to the left-right scroll bar. Now you are so low on the page that the picture is out of view so you have to guesstimate how far to move the left-right scroll bar. Then you scroll back up with the up-down scroll bar to get back to where you can view the picture and see how you did.It seems to me that at some point on these forums, the pictures used to automatically resize to the viewing area of the screen, so that none of the scrolling was even necessary. Maybe I am thinking of some other site though.Rob0

Yup - all issues due to putting this forum within a 'window' on the website. As far as I know, there is no adjustment(s) for this, at least from within this forum application.0

When I pull up the "open" forum on my I-Pad, I still get the forum messages and the HET club pages bouncing between script and pictures. Also just started getting the drop down sign on box even tho I"m already signed on. when I sign on again, using the drop down box, the open forum page pops back up and te script is all fuzzy and almost unreadable.

Strange-- I just clicked on the Open forum menu and when I do that, the script clears up.0

Another thing, on my PC, when I click on the forum now, in a few minutes I get a pop up on my computer screen that says-
"High Usage" turn off firefox and reload.

I am wondering if the computer guys couldn't put the open forum back the way it was. With it back the way it was, then they could put a hot link or shortcut on the HET home page that would open the Open Forum. It seems to easy so there is probably an obvious reason why it wouldn't work.Rob0
