I am wondering why some emblems for grill and rocket are painted black and some are painted red.
WHY.  hudsonly  Ray

    Ray, Hornet rockets were factory painted black on the 51 Hornets. In 52 they were painted red and in 53 they were a maroon color.  You ask why...well   why were green interiors used on yellow cars ? Why were green cars supplied with maroon interiors ?  Lets just chalk it up to Hudson mysteries :)
