    I'm curioius -- are some people unable to see the menu at the very top of the screen?

    Home -- Join/Renew -- Club -- Member   and so forth....?

    Maybe you have to be signed in to the Club website to see this?

    Hold on.

    Are you saying that you cannot see "Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club" at the very top of the screen? 

    You have to slide the bar (at the extreme right side of your screen), all the way up to the top of the page, to see this.

    Just below that, you are supposed to see "Home -- Join/Renew -- Club -- Member..." and several other links.  When you click on these, you would be taken other pages with additional information.  Only those who are signed onto the "HET website" will see all of these.  Those who are only signed onto the Open Forum, will NOT see all of these because they do not have the full use of the website.

    I KNOW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER AND I KNOW HOW TO SEARCH A WEBSITE.

    THE FACT THAT I AM NOT A MEMBER OF HET IS PROBABLY WHY THOSE ITEMS ARE BLOCKED..

    SO I GUESS THAT IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER YOU ARE PROHIBITED FROM USING THE FULL
    FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SIGHT

    I'm with Bill although it may be that my need to log into the open forum separately has caused the problem.

    Same as Bill.. I do have two sign in short cuts One for each site. The first one for the open forum has no mention of the club. So I would imagine if a first time Hudson enthusiasts finds the open forum he or she would have no idea that there is a club or another forum.

    Thanks for reporting this, guys!  I am not the web guy here, but I like to understand what the situation is.

    And my understanding was that anyone who was registered for the Open Forum (that is: who could post messages as well as read the posts) would see the "background" of the H-E-T homepage.  Even if he or she was not registered at the H-E-T website. But I guess I'm wrong!

    Please tell me: are even the folks who are signed into the Open Forum, NOT seeing the HET banner and the huge changing photographs in the page background?

    Also: if you ARE a member of the Open Forum, do you have to sign in every time you come here?  Because, whenever I click on the Open Forum in my bookmark, I'm automatically signed in.  Just curious.

    I opened another tab for the HET club and was already signed on. I clicked the forum tab there then came back to this forums tab and refreshed the screen. Still the same as previously posted.

    May need to clear all memory or sign out then come back?

    I used to see the new 'site in a site' but maybe 2 weeks ago, it just went back to what it looked like before the two forums were combined.

    For me, it's easier without having two scroll bars to deal with so I didn't complain.  If I want to see the club forum, I just go there.

    I just cleared my cache Friday so that doesn't seem related.

    Update - I just tried to access the old forum (this one) from the HET site and it came up with "The content cannot be displayed in a frame".  Could it be a browser thing?  I'm stuck on IE9 because of an old OS that I don't feel like upgrading.

    Update 2 - I just tried it on Google Chrome and got roughly the same thing.  This forum still looks like it used to before the update.  If I try to get here from the HET site, I just get a blank frame.  The rest of the HET page seems to work correctly.

    I am signed in and see the edge of background pictures. When I click on the arrow at the upper left the pictures become visible.

    Clicked onto Home HET Forum and can see background pictures after clicking on left upper arrow.

    I'm just like cpr3333.   Something changed a couple of weeks ago.   Seems like something often changes around here...k
