Stepdown Wiper Towers?

In attaching the cables from the wiper towers to the motor, I have come to find out that both wiper towers have the longer cables on them.  I need a tower with the shorter cables, or a known length and I can put new ends on them.  Would need na exact length for the latter option.  

Anyone help?

    Shorten the cables.  You can cut and join under the dash where it won't be seen.

    You can easily remove the two rivets on the tower, push out the pin and the pulley and wires can be switch out. I got plenty of shorter cable in excellent shape and can send you for free. 10 minute job

    One additional bit of advice:  as you remove the post/pulley assembly be sure to take pics so you can recall how much cable to wrap around pulley prior to reinstall.  Can be a booger to figure out after the fact

    Yesterday while at local Home Depot found this cable available as by the foot bulk sale item.
