Bill,
Many thanks! for info. I have an extra grille. Would be great to come out, but LA and L.A. are about 2500 miles apart! Walt0 -

Aw shucks, LA means Lower Alabama a few miles from here! Got the the polarity identified on the speakers, and the rear speaker in place. Waiting for my "Stere-o-Channelizer"- a '50's gizmo that is supposed to turn your monaural radio into "3-D Stereo Sound" Suppose it must be able to discriminate frequencies and send treble to one speaker and bass to the other. At least it has a speaker selector switch.
