I am going to use Restoration Crome located in Spokane WA for the chrome work on the 49 Commodore.

I haven't had the work done yet but I have emailed and talked with the folks at Restoration Chrome and they sound like good people to work with.0 -
I Had A Lot Of Chrome, Both Pot Metal And Bumpers, Done There 3 Years Ago For A '52 Stude. They Took A Longer Than Quoted (to Be Expected), But Did Quality Work. I Was Pleased W/the Results. The Folks There Did Take The Time To Look It Over With Me When I Picked It Up, And Seemed Happy To Answer Any Questions About Plating That I Had.
As Far As Price, It Seemed Ballpark-ish From Talking To Other Car Folks, But Spendy Nonetheless.
There Are 2 Outfits In Spokane, But Have Never Dealt With Them Personally.

I recently used Restoration Chrome to rechrome some parts for my 64 Chevrolet and they did a great job. The quality was excellent and their website says that they guarentee the chrome for life, which sold me... I haven't seen a chrome shop that will do this.
The guy that helped me there was Jim, he was very knowledgable and I would highly recommend them.
