Convertible top tips needed
Next week I am going to tackle taking apart the aluminum top pieces to a 1950 covertible top. There are a couple of brackets in there that need to be chromed. Looks like one has a tappered pin and the other one is a blind pin. Anyone have any tips on removing these brackets and replacement pins or shafts etc.
Thanks Russ

I drill them out and tap them. After plated, I run flat head screw down with locktite, and cutoff even with chrome surface0
